Former LSU standout Jarvis Landry hosts annual GiveBack event

South Louisiana native, former LSU standout and current Cleveland Browns star Jarvis Landry will host his fifth annual summer GiveBack Event this week.

The four-time Pro Bowl Wide Receiver will return home to St. James Parish Thursday, June 27th to host 150 local youth (ages 11-13) at his alma mater, Lutcher High School from 5:00-7:00pm for a fun-filled day of football, inspiration and mentorship.

Each child will receive lunch provided by Sonny’s BBQ, t-shirts, and a custom Sprayground backpack filled with school supplies, swag and apparel.

In addition, Landry will award a $5,000 scholarship to Kiersten Volion, a graduating senior from Lutcher High School and winner of the 2019 Jarvis Landry Building Winners Scholarship.

GiveBack Event Timeline:

Thursday, June 27, 2019, 5:00-7:00pm

4:00pm – Check in
4:30pm – Suggested media arrival
4:45pm – Jarvis Landry media availability
5:00pm – Event begins
7:00pm – Event ends
