Former LSU Tennis player dies at the age of 29

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – LSU Men’s Tennis is mourning the loss of Olivier ‘Bear’ Borsos.

Borsos spent four years at LSU from 2009 to 2013.

While at LSU, Borsos achieved an impressive list of accomplishments including:

  • 2013 SEC Academic Honor Roll
  • 2012 All-SEC Second Team
  • 2012 First-Team All-Louisiana
  • 2011 SEC Academic Honor Roll
  • Named to First-Team All-Louisiana and All-SEC Second Team during his senior year.

The Budapest, Hungary native earned a degree in Psychology at LSU and finished his Tiger career with a record of 50-59.

Borsos died at the age of 29.
