MARTHA’S VINEYARD, Mass. (BRPROUD) – President Obama celebrated his 60th birthday on Saturday night.

Michelle Obama sent out her birthday wishes to the former president.

Obama’s birthday is actually August 4.

The predecessor to Donald Trump and the former first lady held a birthday bash at their mansion in Martha’s Vineyard.

Prior to the party, President Obama decided to scale back the festivities because of the Delta variant.

In an Associated Press article, “Obama’s defenders stressed that the birthday party is being held outdoors, guests were asked to provide a negative COVID test result and that a COVID coordinator had been enlisted to ensure the event followed all public health guidelines.”

Despite that, one Instagram post is bringing a lot of attention to the former president’s birthday party.

TMZ documented the occasion and during the bash, President Obama can be seen dancing without a mask in one video.

That video was posted by singer and songwriter, Erykah Badu.

According to reports, there was a “no photography” rule for the event and Badu’s post has since been deleted.

A former director of Donald Trump’s Georgia campaign reacted on Twitter.

Supporters of President Obama fired back:

President Obama was the 44th President of the United States and served from 2009 to 2017.
