Free COVID-19 mobile testing available in Baton Rouge this week

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRProud) – Councilwoman Erika Green, Capital Missionary Baptist Church, Councilman LaMont Cole, Open Health Care Clinic & Runner’s Courier Service are working together to provide access to Free COVID-19 testing in the Capital City.

The Open Health Care Clinic & Runner’s Courier Service COVID-19 Mobile Testing Project is available to the public at two locations this week.

The dates, times and locations for the free COVID-19 testing can be found below:

Tuesday, May 12th
Capital Missionary Baptist Church
5565 Hooper Rd.
10am – 2pm

Thursday, May 14th
Martin Luther King Community Center
4000 Gus Young Ave
10am – 2pm

You do not need insurance, doctors order or referral to take advantage of this opportunity.

If you do have insurance, you are asked to bring your insurance card and a form of identification.

Along with the free COVID-19 testing, onsite triage is available to the public.

You do not need to pre-register and organizers say that walk ups are welcome.
