Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy skies with strong to severe storms likely throughout the day. Highs near 79° with winds out of the south at 5 mph.
Extended: Storms move in Saturday ahead of an approaching cold front with the potential to become strong to severe. At this time the timing for these storms will sit between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. with all modes of severe weather possible. As a result the Storm Prediction Center has placed all of southeast Louisiana under a Slight Risk for severe weather. The storms should push east by Saturday evening leaving us mostly dry and sunny for Sunday with highs in the upper 80’s. The week ahead will bring above average temperatures and scattered rain chances.
