Today: Today should start off partly to mostly cloudy, but dry. Only an isolated storm or two will be possible in the early morning. Late morning into the afternoon rain coverage will likely increase. Heavier downpours could lead to a MARGINAL (¼) RISK for flash flooding concerns in isolated areas. Highs will be limited to the mid-upper 80s thanks to rain limited the chances for any strong heat. Lows tonight drop into the mid-70s again.

This Weekend: This weekend will remain very wet with numerous to widespread showers and thunderstorms continuing. Heavier downpours remain a concern. Highs will also remain limited in the mid-upper 80s.

Next Week: Next week shows a continuation of a very wet pattern. Scattered to numerous showers and storms will continue most days next week.

Tracking the Tropics: A tropical wave in the Bay of Campeche has a 40% chance of developing into a tropical depression/storm in the next 48 hours.
