BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD)- As Hurricane Laura leaves it’s remnants behind, the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management is taking their first steps in response to the storm.
“Fingers crossed, nothing devastating but there is going to be a lot of damage and a lot of people trying to pick up the pieces,” GOHSEP Communication Director, Mike Steele said.
