Gas prices continue to fall in the Baton Rouge area

Baton Rouge gas prices have fallen 4.4 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.11 per gallon, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 361 stations.

Gas prices in Baton Rouge are 23.0 cents per gallon lower than a month ago, and stand 44.7 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Baton Rouge is priced at $1.93 per gallon, while the most expensive is $2.99 per gallon.

The national average price of gasoline has fallen 3.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.60 per gallon.

The national average is down 17.0 cents per gallon from a month ago, and 22.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
