Girlfriend arrested in stabbing death of Louisiana man

BOUTTE, La. (WDSU) — An arrest has been made in the stabbing death of a man in Boutte Saturday.

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Keosha Thomas, of Boutte, after they say she stabbed her boyfriend, 41-year-old Jason Hill.

Just before 11 a.m., deputies responded to the 100 block of South Kinler Street and found Hill with an apparent stab wound to his chest, according to deputies.

Hill was taken to St. Charles Hospital where he later died.

Deputies detained Thomas as a suspect at the scene, the SCPSO said.

After further investigation, detectives obtained an arrest warrant and charged Thomas with second-degree murder.
