BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Baton Rouge native, Allie Guidry died at a local hospital from complications relating to COVID-19.
Guidry was 25 weeks pregnant at the time of her death on Thursday, June 25.
According to GoFundMe, “the baby was delivered through an emergency c-section and is currently in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.”
Guidry’s fiancé is named Michael Conish.
Conish works as a hospital transporter in the area.
A GoFundMe account has been set up to help with funeral expenses for Allie and the new baby named Madaline.
As of 1 p.m. on Friday, June 26, the GoFundMe account has raised almost $21,000.
Madaline is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
The account was set up by Cayla Abad.
