BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – September is Hunger Action Month. The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank is continuing its efforts to end hunger for families in our area.

Leaders are also getting ready for Empty Bowls 2022, which is returning following a two-year hiatus because of the pandemic.

The fundraising event helps fight hunger and offers access to hundreds of handcrafted ceramic bowls from local Baton Rouge artists.

It will will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 pm at the Baton Rouge Gallery, 1515 Dalrymple Drive.

Tickets for this year’s event will be $22 in celebration of the big event.

Each $22 ticket includes your choice of bowl, a meal, live music, and festivities for your family. Kids 12 and under eat free.
