Halloween is almost here, “Trunk or Treat” happening at local community center

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – We are 13 days away from Halloween and 11 days away from a fun event for parents and children in the Capital City.

A “Trunk or Treat” is happening on Friday, October 29 at the Charles R. Kelly Community Center.

Councilwoman Erika L. Green is hosting this event which will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

If you are interested in donating wrapped candy, please bring bags to this location between the hours listed below:

  • CRK Community Center located at 3535 Riley St.
  • Monday-Friday from 9AM-4PM

The last day to donate bags is October 27.

If you are interested in hosting a trunk on October 29, give Ms. K. Jackson a call at (225) 389-5464.

The theme for this year’s “Trunk or Treat” is “Children’s Cinema featuring a variety of children movie characters and super heroes.”
