Hammond Police Department asking for public’s help locating missing man

HAMMOND, La. (BRPROUD) – The Hammond Police Department needs your help.

HPD is looking for a missing 57-year-old man named Terry Oltmann.

Oltmann is a Mississippi native but is known to have spent time lately in the Hammond area.

“Oltmann was last seen on May 13, 2020, at approximately 11:30am, at America’s Best Hotel on South Morrison Boulevard,” according to the Hammond Police Department.

Authorities know that Oltmann left the America’s Best Hotel around May 14.

HPD says, “he has no known mode of transportation, identification, or credit/debit cards as these items were left at the hotel.”

The Hammond Police Department asks for you to be on the lookout for these tattoos:

  •       Head of a black panther on left upper shoulder
  •       German cross on right upper shoulder
  •       Rose with a heart in the center on left chest area
