June is Men’s Health Month. And since Heart Disease is the leading cause of death among American men, we’re sharing tips from the experts with The Cardiovascular Institute of the South to help the men in our lives get and stay healthy.
#1. Get moving!
Doctors recommend 150 minutes of moderate exercise per week. That’s 30 minutes, five days a week…or if you prefer, 75 minutes of high intensity exercise in that same time period.
Whatever you do, do something! Start slowly and build on your exercise regimen.
