BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Raising Cane’s River Center is Baton Rouge’s biggest arena for concerts and other activities.

The River Center can hold up to 8,900 people. Events beginning in July through the remainder of the year include entertainment shows, comedy shows and concerts of different music genres.

July has two events scheduled. Foghat, a Rock band, will be in the River Center’s Theater for Performing Arts at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 14.

The following day, the Bayou Motor Car Show Fest will be in the River Center’s arena at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 15.

In August, comedian Desi Banks will stop in Baton Rouge on his Purpose Chaser Tour. This comedy show will go live at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, August 18.

The week after, enjoy the sounds of Jodeci, SWV and Dru Hill at the Summer Block Party concert at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 24.

End the week with some country tunes from Koe Wetzel, a country singer, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 26.

Christian artist, Lauren Daigle will take the stage at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 8.

Comedian, Katt Williams will make a stop at the River Center for his Dark Matter Tour. The show begins at 8 p.m. on Friday, September 29.

For the month of October, country artist, Hardy will stop at the arena for the Mockingbird and the Crow tour at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 13.

The following week, Grand Funk Railroad, a rock group, will perform at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, October 20.

In November, comedian Karlous Miller will have a show that is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 9.

To end the year, comedian John Christ will stop by for his Emotional Support comedy tour at 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 10.

Lastly, the popular game show, “Wheel of Fortune Live” is headed to the capital region in the River Center theater at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 22.
