Up, up and away! The start of the 2019 Ascension Hot Air Balloon Festival at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center starts Friday.

The three-day festival consists of hot air balloon glows, live entertainment, great food, nightly fireworks shows, carnival rides and plenty of fun activities for children of all ages.
Festival hours are Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. & Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Admission is $5 for adults (cash only) free for children 8 and under. An ATM will be on site.
