ST. MARY PARISH, La. (KLFY) – Two hunters found human remains in St. Mary Parish Friday and notified police.
According to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office, the remains were found around noon in a wooded area 10 miles north of Franklin.
The remains were retrieved and authorities will conduct an autopsy to try and determine the manner and cause of death.
No other information was released.
