ICYMI: Saints head coach Sean Payton donates plasma after COVID-19 recovery

NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton is doing his part to help people impacted by COVID-19 after his own recovery from the disease.

COVID-19 patients who have fully recovered have antibodies in their plasma, which is being used as treatment for patients with serious cases.

Payton received word donations were needed and he went to The Blood Center.

Blood centers are urging people who have fully recovered from COVID-19 to donate.
