Judges’ Candidate Forum hosted tonight, open to the public

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD)- The Judges’ Candidate Forum will be hosted on Oct. 19 at the Jewel J. Newman Community Center, 2013 Central Road in Scotlandville from 6 p.m.-8.pm.

The forum is open to the public, but limited to 100 guest. Door’s will open to the public at 5:30 p.m.

Tonight’s forum will be moderated by the Baton Rouge Chapter of the NAACP President, Eugene Collins. 

The Judges’ Candidate forum will cover the following qualities:

1.  Judicial Temperament

2.  Intelligence

3.  Ethics

4.  Courage and Integrity

5.  Experience and Education

6.  Suitability to Workload

7.  Continuing Legal Education

8.  Ability to Communicate

9.  Civic and Professional Responsibility

10.  Health

11.  Character
