BATON ROUGE, La. (BRProud) – EBRSO arrested a Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) employee named Trey Falgoust after he admitted to shooting at patrons from inside a KFC late Tuesday night.

Detectives with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office were called to a reported shooting at 10 p.m. on Tuesday night.

The call stated that a shooting involving a KFC employee took place at the fast food restaurant located “in the 9600 block of Perkins Rd,” according to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office.

Patrons at that KFC location allegedly had an argument with staff because the restaurant did not have any more food.

That argument led to Falgoust shooting at patrons around 14 times.

Patrons fled the scene after the shots were fired and upon arrival, authorities were able to apprehend Falgoust.

Trey Falgoust, 24, is facing these charges:

  • 3 counts of Attempted First Degree Murder
  • 1 count of Illegal Use of a Weapon
  • 2 counts of Criminal Damage to Property
