Lafayette Consolidated Government to start screening first-responders, law enforcement officers for COVID-19


LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) Starting Monday, the Lafayette Consolidated Government says it will offer a free screening to all first-responders, law enforcement officers and other emergency care workers who have been on the front line continuing to take measures that assure medical staff aren’t at risk of contracting or spreading the coronavirus.

The screenings will be available at the Cajundome from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.

“All healthcare workers, fire fighters, and law enforcement officers are encouraged to drive thru and get screened, LCG officials announced.
