LDH announces COVID-19 testing sites for upcoming week

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) The COVID-19 testing schedule for sites operated by the Louisiana Army National Guard for the upcoming week was announced on Saturday, August 21 by the Louisiana Department of Health.

These testing sites are available starting Monday, August 23 and go on until Sunday, August 29.

Louisiana Department of Health pushes for pre-registration for testing in regions one through three. Ages three and up can be tested for the virus, and it is free. No identification is needed.

Test results are available by calling 1-866-MYQUEST (1-866-697-8378), but keep in mind that wait times can be long. Test results are also available through the Quest online portal or app.

Region four is Acadiana, anyone who needs to be tested can register through this link.

Select Walgreen’s stores also have free testing which is available by appointment. These locations offer testing all week for ages three and up. Make your Walgreen’s appointment here.
