LDH reports 20 coronavirus deaths, almost half of Louisiana parishes have a case

UPDATE As of 9:30am on 3/22:

The newest numbers have been released and the latest numbers show 837 cases.

UPDATE:

New numbers have been released from the Louisiana Dept of health and the numbers are astounding.

There has been an increase of 178 cases since this mornings report of 585 cases in the state of Louisiana.

That brings the total number of cases to 763.

ORIGINAL:

According to the Louisiana Department of Health, 16 people have now died from the coronavirus in the state.

There are 585 reported cases of the coronavius in Louisiana.

29 of the 64 parishes in Louisiana are now reporting at least once case of the coronavirus.

The state has completed 1,230 coronavirus tests and 1,535 tests have been reported to LDH from commercial labs.
