BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Louisiana’s capital region is under a severe weather threat from Tuesday (December 13) night until Wednesday afternoon and a running list of road closures and other traffic-related incidents are listed below.

Please use the list below to avoid potential danger and if at all possible, avoid driving during severe weather conditions.

The most recent traffic incidents and closures are at the top of this list:

  • Wednesday, 6:27 p.m.- Crash on Bluebonnet Blvd/Picardy Ave.
  • Wednesday, 4:42 p.m.- Crash with injuries at Highland Rd. near Crossing Blvd/Boulevard Louisiane
  • Wednesday, 3:34 p.m.- Lane blockage along Miss River Bridge on I-10 East due to a stalled vehicle. Congestion has reached LA 1 (Port Allen).
  • Wednesday, 3:32 p.m.- Crash on I-10 West near the Siegen Lane and Bluebonnet exits
  • Wednesday, 1:54 p.m. – Crash with injuries along I-12 East near Sherwood & Millerville exit
  • Wednesday, 12:58 p.m.- High water at Chippewa Street between Lockwood Ave & Phlox Ave.
