BATON ROUGE, La. (LOCAL 33) (FOX 44)- The Little League Champions from River Ridge continue to make the state of Louisiana proud. Tonight, they will be honored at the Governor’s Mansion in a special reception hosted by John Bel Edwards and First Lady Donna Edwards Sunday night.

Back in August, the East Bank All Stars took the title in Pennsylvania with an 8-0 win over Curacao. The game was broadcast internationally.

Since the victory, the team has gained local and national recognition. This is the first time a team from Louisiana has won the series.
