BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A group of LSU students with the Manship School of Mass Communication will host a fundraiser to raise awareness for cystic fibrosis. In partnership with Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, the students will host #RockingAwayCF from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Nov. 12.
The student group is comprised of individual’s with the school’s student-run public relations firm, ImPRint Communcations. The Facebook live virtual concert will feature acoustic performances from Walk-On’s corporate office. Local music groups include Parish County Line, Burnhouse, The Tricky Dickies, Rhett Guillot and Isabel Caballero. Speakers with the foundation will also talk on behalf of the cause between sets.
