Livingston Parish Public Schools system announces Student of the Year winners

Bryce Felps, a senior at Maurepas High, was named the Livingston Parish Public Schools High School Student of the Year, making him Maurepas High’s first recipient of the award in 13 years.

(The Livingston Parish News) – The Livingston Parish Public Schools system recently announced its Student of the Year winners for elementary, middle school, and high school.

This year’s Student of the Year recipients are Evelynn Artieta, fifth grade, Levi Milton Elementary (elementary); Reese Kennedy, eighth grade, Denham Springs Junior High (middle school); and Bryce Felps, 12th grade, Maurepas High (high school).

The winning students will be officially honored during a ceremony in the spring, as well as all the Student of the Year winners parish-wide.
