Livingston Parish schools finishing major renovations following floods of 2016


(WVLA- WGMB) DENHAM SPRINGS, La — Livingston Parish Students and teachers will be walking into a shiny new stem center on the first day of school.

Construction crews in the Livingston Parish School District are putting the finishing touches on a major renovation project at the Denham Springs High campus, one of three campuses which were devastated by flooding during 2016

School officials say the schools will be ready when classes are scheduled to begin on Aug. 9th, according to Livingston Parish Springs officials.
