BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Jewel J. Newman Community Center is looking for the opinions of local residents.
Residents in North Baton Rouge will have the chance to give their thoughts on possible “improvements to increase access to the JJNCC through walking and biking.”
This open house is meant to gather the ideas of those who use what the Jewel J. Newman Community Center has to offer the public.
“This public input will be used to recommend potential mobility improvements between Scotlandville and the JJNCC,” according to The Center for Planning Excellence.
The event is hosted by The Center for Planning Excellence and Jewel J. Newman Community Center.
If you are interested in lending your thoughts, the open house is scheduled to run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 26.
The Jewel J. Newman Community Center is located at 2013 Central Rd.
