BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – 22-year-old Armon Wilson, of N. 49th St. is behind bars facing one count each of First Degree Murder and Illegal Use of a Weapon.

Wilson is a suspect in the shooting death of Jerome Kinchen.

Kinchen was shot and killed in the 4800 block of Gus Young Ave.

BRPD says, “investigators believe that the shooting was a result of an earlier altercation.”

Wilson is currently in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
