Local man arrested in connection with deadly stabbing on N. 36th St.

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – An arrest has been made in the case of a man found dead inside a home on N 36th St.

29-year-old Kadeem Phames, of N. 36th St., was taken into custody on Sunday, October 24.

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, “Investigators believe that Phames is connected in the death of Gerald Taylor.”

Taylor was found stabbed to death a little before 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, October 23.

Phames is behind bars in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and the 29-year-old is facing one count of Second Degree Murder.
