BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — One person has been killed in a shooting on Thomas Delpit Drive.

Two other victims have sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to a spokesperson from the Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD).

The victim killed was identified by BRPD as 62-year-old Walter White. Police said White died at the scene from his injuries.

BRPD officers responded to the shooting in the 1300 block of Thomas Delpit Drive after 1 p.m. Tuesday.

BRPD’s spokesperson says investigators believe the shots were fired from a passing vehicle and the investigation remains ongoing.
