12 parishes will have closed state offices Friday through Sunday

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – Jay Dardenne, commissioner of administration has announced that the following 12 parishes will be closed Friday, Sep. 10 through Sunday, Sep. 12:

  • Jefferson Parish
  • Lafourche Parish
  • Orleans Parish
  • Plaquemines Parish
  • St. Bernard Parish
  • St. Charles Parish
  • St. Helena Parish
  • St. James Parish
  • St. John the Baptist Parish
  • St. Tammany Parish
  • Tangipahoa Parish
  • Terrebonne Parish

Office closures applies to all non-essential employees, including those authorized to work from
home due to COVID-19.

All agency heads are responsible for determining those essential personnel who should remain on
duty, report for duty or those who should report to alternate work sites as necessary.

Officials should continue monitoring conditions throughout the state.
