15-year-old arrested after shooting two males at Nicholson Drive business

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A juvenile was arrested by Baton Rouge Police in connection to a double shooting at a Nicholson Drive business near LSU.

The shooting occurred at around 8:45 a.m. on Monday, according to a spokesperson from the Baton Rouge Police Department.

A 15-year-old male and a 22-year-old male got into an argument, which resulted in the juvenile firing shots at the 22-year-old and another victim, a 28-year-old male, according to BRPD. Both victims were taken to a local hospital with “serious injuries.”

BRPD said a 30-year-old woman was with the victims at the time of the shooting but was uninjured.

The 15-year-old suspect was booked into juvenile detention and faces charges of three counts of attempted first-degree murder, one count of illegal use of a weapon and one count of possession of a handgun by a juvenile.
