BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A Baton Rouge man is behind bars on child pornography charges after local officials received a tip from a social media platform.

According to the arrest documents, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office (EBRSO) received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) indicating that 24-year-old Corey Cotten had graphic images and videos of a young girl performing sexual acts on an adult male and sharing them on his Snapchat account.

Cotten was charged with 20 counts of pornography involving juveniles and 20 counts of computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
