High school football games can increase fan attendance in some parishes, Gov. Edwards says

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Gov. John Bel Edwards announced in a press conference on October 22 that based on data from the Louisiana Department of Health, 26 parishes qualify to increase occupancy in their outdoor high school sporting events from 25 percent to 50 percent.

This increase is effective October 23. Officials will be required to reverse stadium capacity back down to 25% if the positivity rate exceeds 10% for two weeks.
