BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – If “All you can eat” was a sport, this would be it! Fat Boy’s is bringing back their annual Fat Boy’s Pizza Eating Championship at LSU on Saturday, Nov. 13.

Joey Chestnut, who is a world-record holder and the reigning Fat Boy’s champion, will return to compete with other competitive eaters and local celebrities to keep his reign.

“Joey is amazing,” Fat Boy’s Pizza owner Gabe Corchiani said. “We’re excited that he’s able to
come back to put on another incredible eating display.”

Chestnut’s world records include the most hotdogs eaten at Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating contest with 76 hotdogs. Chestnut has won the competition 14 times, which is also a world record.

“I am stoked to defend my Fat Boy’s Pizza Eating Champion title and to hang out with LSU fans prior to their game against Arkansas,” Chestnut said. “We had a lot of fun at the Metairie Fat Boy’s back in 2019 and I can’t wait to do it all again in Baton Rouge.”

The Fat Boy’s Pizza Eating Eating Championship will take place before LSU plays against Arkansas. To register for the event, follow this link to the sign-up page. The winner of the competition gets a share of the $3,000 purse and a championship belt. Follow Fat Boy’s on social media for updates on the event.
