LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) – After a month-long investigation, narcotics agents have arrested three Denham Springs men for allegedly distributing drugs.

The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office says deputies have been working on information received about illegal narcotics being distributed in the parish. Sheriff Jason Ard says agents were able to search two homes.

The first location was on Old Live Oak Drive. The second location was Honeysuckle Street. The following was seized as a result of the investigation:

  • 3.4 lbs of meth
  • 14.5 grams of heroin
  • 13.7 grams of marijuana
  • 3 handguns

Jose Luis Hernandez-Velazco, 36, Ronnie Weems 55, and Aaron Verret, 42, were booked in the Livingston Parish Jail Wednesday on drug and gun charges.
