BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Four suspects connected to a minimum of five separate armed robberies and one home invasion were arrested by Baton Rouge Police and EBRSO on Wednesday.

The string of crimes taking place inside and out of city limits started on Dec. 29, according to Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD).

BRPD identified the suspects arrested as 20-year-old Jorge Aldari-Menciac, 18-year-old Rommel Zair Banegas-Villela, 19-year-old Ever Alexander Robles-Cordova and 27-year-old Didier Javier Guardado-Cardena.

BRPD said multiple guns and money were confiscated during the search at a home in the 15000 block of Monica Avenue.

Aldari-Menciac faces one count of armed robbery/home invasion, three counts of armed robbery and three counts of illegal possession of stolen firearm.

Banegas-Villela faces one count of armed robbery/home invasion.

Robles-Cordova faces one count of armed robbery/home invasion, three counts of armed robbery and three counts of illegal possession of stolen firearms.

Guardado-Cardenas faces three counts of armed robbery and three counts of armed robbery/illegal possession of stolen firearm.
