BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Louisiana Department of Education announces 18 finalists for the 2023 Teacher and Principal of the Year awards. Two educators named finalists are from the Greater Baton Rouge area.

LDOE also announced the New Teacher of the Year finalists, three of which are from the Greater Baton Rouge area.
