Volkswagen is recalling 700,000 cars due to a roof-lighting defect.

A German trade magazine reports that the recall affects Tiguan and Touran models.

Humidity can cause a short circuit in the roof’s light strip, which could potentially set the car on fire.

The affected cars were sold worldwide.
