BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – 90% of Cox customers have been reconnected to services in Baton Rouge as of Tuesday.
Meanwhile, 50% of New Orleans Cox customers have been reconnected after Hurricane Ida.
“We are dedicating all of our resources to restoring services quickly and efficiently, with the safety of our customers and employees in mind,” said Anthony Pope, senior vice president and region manager of the Cox Southeast Region. “We are extremely pleased with the progress of our restoration to date and continue to thank our customers for their patience.”
Customers may need to unplug their equipment for 10 seconds before plugging it back in. Cox customers should also:
- Keep away from loose, dangling or down lines. Treat every line as if it is an active power line.
- Avoid placing storm debris near Cox pedestals in your yard to prevent damage.
