BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Zoo is getting ready for its 8th Annual BREW at the Zoo in October.

Adults 21 and older can listen to live music while drinking over 200 craft beers on Oct. 7. The adult-only event will feature local, regional, and national craft beers. Appetizers will also be provided. The tasting event benefits the Baton Rouge Zoo Foundation.

“For the past seven years, this event has sold out,” said Zoo Director Jim Fleshman in a press release. “BREW at the Zoo has become a flagship event in Baton Rouge as a whole. Our guests know that they are helping save wild animals in their natural habitats when they buy a ticket to BREW at the Zoo, as the proceeds go to support the Zoo and our conservation efforts.”

VIP tickets are $100, general admission tickets are $50, and designated driver tickets are $20. Tickets go on sale on Aug. 15 at 8 a.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
