Aerial spray mission occurring tonight to help fight high mosquito numbers and West Nile

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – If weather allows, the E.B.R.P Mosquito Abatement & Rodent Control will conduct an aerial spray mission on Wednesday night.

They spray is scheduled to start around 8:30 p.m. and “will be over the Midwest portion of the parish over the Monticello area.”

The spray is necessary due to the high number of mosquitoes and the presence of the West Nile Virus.
