All eyes on the LSU Tigers as they look to continue winning streak

Local News

Eye of the tiger has a new meaning as LSU looks to continue their winning streak this weekend as they face the Arkansas Razorbacks Saturday night.

This will be the Tigers first time back on their home turf in nearly a month since their win against Auburn.

The number one team holds a three-game winning streak against Arkansas.

If the Tigers win Saturday, they’ll be SEC West champions, which hasn’t been done by LSU since 2011.

They’re also fighting for a spot on the College Football Playoff national championship stage which is being held right down the road in New Orleans in January.

Eyes are also on champion hopeful Joe Burrow who’s garnered national attention as he is a contender for the Heisman trophy.

LSU has one more conference game before the SEC Championship against Texas A&M.

Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. and will air on ESPN.
