APSO searching for vehicle that hit Darrow residence on Saturday night

The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a vehicle that was involved in a hit and run on Saturday night.

APSO deputies are searching for a 2005-2010 model Chrysler 300 vehicle with heavy front end damage and a missing driver’s side mirror.

The Chrysler 300 hit a residence on Hemmingway Drive in Darrow and left the scene.

Chief Deputy Bobby Webre said, around 10 p.m. on Saturday night in the Ascension Trace neighborhood, a “dark colored sedan driving at a high rate of speed ran a stop sign and hit a residence on Hemmingway Drive in Darrow and left the scene.”

According to Webre, no one was injured as a result of the crash.

APSO attained surveillance video which showed the possible make and model of the vehicle involved in the hit and run. 

If anyone has information on the whereabouts of the vehicle involved in the hit and run, please call the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office at 225-621-4636 or text 847411 to our anonymous tip line from any cellular device.
