GONZALES, La. (BRPROUD) — Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office (APSO) seeks three suspects connected to two burglaries resulting in the theft of over $3,000 worth of items.

According to APSO, the first theft took place in 2020 when two men allegedly stole more than $2,000 worth of power tools from Lowes in Gonzales. The second theft was in 2021 at the same store by the same two men where multiple vacuum cleaners valued at over $1,000 were allegedly stolen.

The sheriff’s office is looking for the two men involved and a woman who allegedly drove the getaway vehicle.

APSO has identified two of the suspects as Jonathan Evans, 28, of Baton Rouge and Alicia Maloid, 32, of Baton Rouge. The third suspect has yet to be identified by authorities.
