BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) has made an arrest in the shooting that killed two people near the Mall of Louisiana in February.

Demetriyon Grim, 21, has been arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, and one count of illegal use of a weapon.

The suspect fired multiple gunshots into a vehicle striking four passengers. Two victims, identified as 18-year-old Donte Dorsey and 19-year-old Clifton Lindsey died at the scene. The other two victims were transported to the hospital.

BRPD believes this shooting was targeted.

Grim was transported to East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Thursday evening.

This shooting remains under investigation.
