Arrests made by Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office in connection to drive-by shooting

LABADIEVILLE, La. (BRPROUD) – Two adults and two juveniles were arrested by the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office in connection to a drive-by shooting.

The shooting occurred on July 7. Sheriff’s office investigation reports multiple shots were fired from a vehicle at two mobile homes. No injuries were reported.

The adult suspects arrested were identified as 19-year-old Kyron K. Thompson of Belle Rose and 19-year-old Joshua L. Washington of Donaldsonville.

Thompson and Washington face charges including two counts of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles, two counts of aggravated criminal damage to property, one count of assault by drive-by-shooting and one count of illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities.

The two juveniles arrested were both 17-year-old males, according to Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office.
