Fool’s Fest

When: April 1-3

Where: Beauvoir Park

Zippity Zoo Fest

When: April 2-3

Where: BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo

About the festival: This festival celebrates the Baton Rouge Zoo’s 52nd birthday with entertainment, animal meet and greets and birthday cake! Tickets are on sale now.

The Flower Fest

When: April 2-3

Where: Pointe-Marie (14200 River Road)

About the festival: This family-friendly festival celebrates all things floral. Event organizers say this year’s theme is “Out of this World!” and invite attendees to walk through and vote on their favorite floral creations.

Ebb & Flow Festival

When: April 9-10

Where: Downtown Baton Rouge

About the festival: The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge hosts the 6th annual Ebb & Flow Festival in downtown Baton Rouge. This event is free and features an art exhibition, an arts market, art group performances, music, and more. Event organizers said R&B funk band Con Funk Shun will be headlining the fest.

Froggy Mo Art Hop

When: April 9 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Where: Tin Roof Brewing Co. (1624 Wyoming Street)

About the festival: Froggy Mo Art Hop makes its debut in 2022 along Nicholson Drive. This festival features four businesses with art vendors, food and entertainment throughout the day. Participating businesses include Tin Roof Brewing Co., Brickyard South, Three Roll Estate, and George’s Place.

Baton Rouge Bike Fest

When: April 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Perkins Road Community Park

About the festival: This festival organized by BREC features velodrome demonstrations, free rides on BREC’s BMX track, BMX skate park competition, bicycle polo, and guided bicycle rides along the Pennington Trail.

Easter Parade and Festival

When: April 16 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: 8551 Scotland Avenue

About the festival: This will be the 12th annual Easter Parade in Scotlandville. The family-friendly event features music, games, and an Easter egg hunt.

Baton Rouge Improv Festival

When: April 20-24

Where: LSU Studio Theatre and other locations

Baton Rouge Blues Festival

When: April 21-24

Where: Downtown Baton Rouge
